TORTUS TWO DAY FALL WORKSHOPS

Eric Landon makes 10 vessel types giving a unique and comprehensive look at the unique approach and techniques he applies at the wheel to make all of his work. The workshop will cover a series of vases, bottles and bowls, introducing you to tricks that will allow you to get more out of your wheel.

There are only very limited spaces available for each workshop. They include equipment, tools, and clay.  If students wish to keep their work for completion at a later date, arrangements can be made with the studio.

 

NEW YORK CITY WORKSHOPS 

BKLYN CLAY (Prospect Heights)

September 8-9

September 11-14 (4 day master workshop.  We’ll be going for scale with this unique workshop and through a lot of clay!!!. Eric Landon makes numerous vessel types giving a unique and comprehensive look at the unique approach and techniques he applies at the wheel to make all of his larger-scale work. The workshop will cover a series of more complex, advanced, and larger scale vessels, and focus on fine-tuning your finger work so you can improve clay economy and throw with more precision. This TORTUS MASTERCLASS is a workshop only for experienced throwers.)

The workshops are from 9am-4pm and include a 40 minute lunch break. Price is 550 USD  (1350 USD FOR THE MASTER CLASS) and includes materials, but do not include firing of work.  This must be organized with the studio.
